Job summary

Aerotek seeks an Orbital Welder to fabricate, fit, and weld high-purity stainless steel tubing and assemblies for semiconductor environments. You will perform orbital and manual TIG welding, follow drawings, and support quality and safety standards.

The role requires at least three years of welding/fabrication experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and knowledge of orbital welding in industrial settings. On-site work in a controlled environment is expected with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding certification or ability to obtain certification.
• At least three years welding or fabrication experience.
• Strong blueprint-reading and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with orbital welding equipment and TIG welding.
• Knowledge of high-purity stainless steel fabrication in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, face, and fit tubes for welding.
• Perform orbital and manual TIG welding on high-purity stainless steel.
• Conduct leak testing and weld inspection for quality.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize weld parameters.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support manufacturing goals.
• Commit to safety, quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
