Job summary

Siliant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse with operating room experience in Alabama to join a contract role on a dynamic surgical team. The selected candidate will circulate and scrub, support surgeons, and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures, while maintaining patient safety and clear communication with staff.

Eligible applicants will bring 2+ years in OR, BLS/ACLS, and strong EMR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years OR experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures with strict sterile technique.
• Assess patient status before, during, and after surgery to anticipate needs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists.
• Prepare the operating room with equipment and supplies and ensure functionality.
• Provide emotional support and information to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and operative procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control standards at all times.
