Job summary

Lyra Health seeks a contract Neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive evaluations across ages, collaborating with families and care teams. You will interpret diverse test batteries, supervise a psychometrist, and produce detailed reports with tailored summaries for clients and providers.

The role supports both in-person and virtual sessions, with office space available for conducting evaluations, and a focus on whole-person mental health within Lyra’s integrated care model.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• One year predoctoral internship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred.
• Two year postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred.
• An equivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Licensed in California or New York preferred; PSYPACT authorized or eligible preferred.
• Experience conducting testing virtually and in person; familiarity with online web-based applications.
• Effective therapeutic communication skills; able to deliver care virtually or in person.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, with family collaboration.
• Interpret a wide variety of neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administration.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in neuropsychological assessments.
• Supervise and oversee the psychometrist to ensure accurate data collection.
• Complete detailed evaluation reports and prepare brief client/family/referring-provider summaries.
• Conduct feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the care team to inform and coordinate treatment planning.
• Conduct in-person and virtual sessions with patients and families.
