Job summary

The Haskell Company seeks a Contracts Specialist to partner with business development and project teams, handling a range of complex contracts and legal tasks. You will review, negotiate, and maintain agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage corporate records and litigation reports.

Ideal candidates have JD/attorney status or equivalent construction-contract experience, strong drafting abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple high-priority tasks with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contractual and legal concepts.
• Excellent negotiating and drafting skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and maintain professional relationships.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating or supporting commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with AIA and DBIA contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate Customer Agreements including design, architecture and construction contracts.
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate NDAs, Teaming Agreements and Subcontracts.
• Research changes to laws affecting corporate and construction industry.
• Maintain corporate records and litigation/claims status reports.
• Maintain ITAR/EAR documentation and corporate seals.
• Compile data for licenses and prepare materials for executives.
• Arrange meetings and high-level conference calls; develop agendas.
• May lead independent projects and travel as needed.
