Job summary

Biodesix seeks contract mobile phlebotomists to collect samples in patients' homes or workplaces via nasal swab or venipuncture for genomics- and proteomics-based tests. COVID-19 testing applies to asymptomatic individuals or those recently recovered; virtual training will be provided for all sample types and kits.

Qualifications

• Excellent phlebotomy skills including venipuncture.
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy within the last 3 years.
• Strong verbal and written communication for client interaction and issue reporting.
• Ability to follow procedures and exercise good judgment.
• Organized for contacting and scheduling patients and communicating with the office.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient within 24 hours.
• Prompt scheduling of appointments (1 to 3 days).
• Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, patient issues or draw complications.
• Specimen collection adhering to kit instructions precisely.
• Samples packed and shipped same day using FedEx materials.
• Prompt invoicing of draws for payment.
