Job summary

Spectrumforce Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in San Diego, CA, for a 5‑month contract with a first shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm PST. Responsibilities include assembling mechanical components, following assembly prints, and performing hand soldering and cabling per drawings.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months of assembly experience, with basic math and reading skills and the ability to work from established drawings. High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 6+ months of assembly experience.
• Experience with soldering, wire harnessing and cabling on assembly units.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• May be required to perform repair work as necessary.
• Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods.
• Documents test results.
• May maintain logs and records denoting malfunctions.
• Requires production experience with vocational experience in mechanical assembly.
