Job summary

Ideal candidates have 6+ months of assembly experience, with basic math and reading skills and the ability to work from established drawings. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job title: Mechanical Assembler. Location: San Diego, CA 92121. Duration: 5 months with possible extension. Shift: 1st shift 6:00am – 2:30pm PST.

Overview

Performs a variety of operations to assemble mechanical components, sub‑assemblies and sheet metal enclosures. Works with assembly prints, wiring diagrams and schematics to assemble drawers, chassis, enclosures and racks. Works on assignments that are complex in nature where judgment and initiative are required to resolve problems and make recommendations. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing hand soldering, wire harnessing and cabling on assembly units.

Responsibilities
