Overview

We’re looking for a Contract Marketing Communications Content Operations Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings deep expertise in email and SMS marketing using Attentive. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting high-volume communications across digital channels, including email, SMS, CMS, and CRM systems.

If you're an organized, detail-driven marketer with experience managing sophisticated B2B and B2C campaigns—and you’ve used Attentive for at least 1.5 years—we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Email Marketing (High Volume, End-to-End Ownership):

  • Manage and execute high-frequency email campaigns, including a weekly e-newsletter, monthly newsletters, and targeted one-off communications.
  • Act as the email subject matter expert (SME), advising stakeholders across all levels on strategy, trends, and opportunities to improve engagement and ROI.
  • Partner with internal departments to optimize customer journeys and campaign performance across the North American market.
  • Oversee reporting, data quality, and audience engagement metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to continually refine strategy and execution.

Content Management & Operations:

  • Manage the end-to-end content process across content management systems (CMS), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Support daily content operations on platforms like Absorb LMS, including asset uploads, tagging, description writing, and content placement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial marketing, content strategy, events, sales, and compliance teams to ensure content is current and strategically presented.
  • Recommend improvements to systems, workflows, and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of content delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support:

  • Contribute to project planning, brainstorming sessions, and creative development efforts across marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Provide operational and communications support for virtual and in-person events, as needed.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, CRM platforms, and content operations.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume email communications and complex content workflows with precision.
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Shopify, Absorb LMS, and Confluence; prior experience using Attentive (1.5+ years) is a must.
  • B2B and B2C marketing experience, with strong direct marketing skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML for email development and design alignment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with proofreading and quality control expertise.
  • Highly collaborative, communicative, and responsive in fast-paced team settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Additional Info

  • This is a contract role with an immediate start, intended to cover a temporary leave and support an expanded workload during a high-demand period.
  • Estimated duration: 6 monthswith the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
  • Remote-friendly, with a strong preference for candidates based in EST or CST time zones to align with our team.
  • Ideal for professionals who are comfortable managing high-volume deliverables in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
