Job summary

Sun Technologies, Inc. in Boulder, CO is seeking a contract Electroassembly Technician for up to 8 months. The role involves assembling and soldering LRUs in an ESD/FOD controlled lab, following detailed builds and test instructions. Strong hands-on skills and attention to detail are required.

Must have high school diploma, math skills, and the ability to read diagrams and use measurement tools. Prior manufacturing experience and soldering skills are preferred; training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and industry standards.
• Proficient computer skills to follow work instructions.
• Clear verbal communication and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Solid electrical aptitude and ability to read/write instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and major components to manufacture LRUs using build books and test instructions.
• Use mechanical and electrical tools to perform assembly and testing.
• Record work performed and test results; identify issues.
• Inspect own work against instructions and maintain accurate logs and inventory.
• Support, train, and collaborate with teammates to improve processes.
