Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for an aerospace and defense client in Boulder, CO. Onsite role with a 7-month duration on a W2 contract; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities include assembling and soldering LRUs, using basic mechanical and electrical skills, and following build books, schematics, and test procedures. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, the ability to read wiring diagrams, and familiarity with IPC-620 and IPC JSTD-001.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Math skills to work with measuring instruments and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing standards.
• Proficient PC skills to follow work instructions.
• Clear verbal communication and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Solid electrical aptitude and ability to follow build books.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work from build books, detailed instructions, and other verbal and written instructions.
• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and major LRUs using mechanical and electrical tools.
• Perform testing per instructions and verify results.
• Record test results, maintain logs, and track inventory/FOD information.
• Inspect own work for quality and accuracy against build books.
• Assist and train co-workers and contribute to process improvements.
