Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Contract Manager for IT products to provide contracting expertise, draft and interpret quality contracts, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant contract execution.

The role focuses on minimizing risk while negotiating terms with third parties, supported by BJC attorneys and senior contract staff. A Bachelor’s degree is required and relevant contract experience is preferred.

Role Purpose

Provide contracting expertise to draft, interpret, and negotiate quality, minimal risk contracts for BJC Health System.

Responsibilities

• With support from BJC attorneys and Senior/Lead Contract Managers negotiate or renegotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions with third parties.
• Manage the Sourcing portfolio expiring contracts calendar and new contract requests overseeing the compliance of contracts within company policies and all contractual processes and actions.
• Draft, interpret, and evaluate contract language with minimal deviation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align on timelines, deliverables, approvals, etc.
