Job summary

Lancesoft seeks an experienced Contract Manager to oversee heavy industrial and utility construction contracts in a hybrid New York setting. You will administer contracts, manage change orders, resolve claims, and mitigate commercial risk across multi-project portfolios.

In this role you will partner with project teams to ensure contractual compliance, accurate documentation, and timely execution, while supporting procurement and bid activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven experience managing contracts in heavy industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with change orders, claims, and contract administration.
• Ability to perform drawing take-offs and schedule impact evaluations.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling and delay analysis.
• Strong writing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and administer contracts.
• Manage change orders with owners, subs, and suppliers.
• Quantify contract changes via take-offs, specs, and schedule impact.
• Analyze contract risks, claims, disputes, and commercial issues.
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to meet obligations.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment between contract requirements and execution.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and correspondence.
• Support bid preparation and procurement processes.
• Prepare contract-related reports and notices.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
