Job summary

Dematic in Heusenstamm, Germany is seeking a Contracts Manager to protect our business and enable project success across EMEA. You will work with cross-functional teams to safeguard contractual positions and ensure governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in business, law or engineering, strong project management and negotiation skills, and fluency in English and German. Travel may be required, with flexible and mobile working options available.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent English and German, both written and spoken, required; knowledge of French/Italian/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in contract and claim management, contract analysis and drafting, or legal advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies in line with policies.
• Partner with Project Management, Controlling, and Project Procurement to safeguard contractual positions.
• Support governance and approval documentation for timely decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across all phases of projects.
• Monitor contractual obligations, including payment milestones, guarantees, and other commitments.
• Lead contract settlement discussions with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Proactively identify opportunities and resolve contractual issues to minimize risk.
