About the Role

We are seeking a Contract Manager with CRO (Clinical Research Organization) experience to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Contract Manager, you will drive strategic business development activities that advance new treatments for patients.

This position plays a key role in managing proposal development, contract negotiations, budget preparation, and client relationship management. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Project Management, Legal, Business Development, and Finance to deliver client-ready proposals and contracts that meet strict deadlines and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive proposals in response to client requests, managing contract processes from negotiation through finalization, and ensuring alignment with internal standards and client specifications.

  • Develop and prepare strategic proposals and budgets in response to RFPs, incorporating SME feedback and ensuring adherence to company policies and pricing structures
  • Lead contract development and negotiation processes, coordinating across internal departments to prepare, review, and finalize contracts that meet client needs and company standards
  • Establish and maintain account-specific contract standards, including budget presentation formats, payment terms, and contract language, negotiating these with clients as appropriate
  • Identify and solution potential RFP and contract barriers, implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction
  • Manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively and meeting strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings to negotiate costs, terms, and contract details, demonstrating confidence and negotiation skills with minimal support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data management, ensuring all proposals, contracts, and supporting files are saved in appropriate systems and updated regularly for metrics and KPI tracking
