Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a Contracts Manager for our New York operations. You will advise on contracting strategies for major capital projects, support procurement across private sector healthcare and real estate sectors, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver robust contract documents.

The role requires 5+ years in construction contract services, ability to work autonomously, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in multiple contract environments and procurement routes.
• Degree or equivalent in construction or related field.
• Confident, autonomous, and able to work without supervision.
• Ability to engage in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling the responsibilities of a Contracts Manager.
• Developing and implementing contracting strategies for major projects.
• Providing specialist contracts and procurement advice to private sector clients.
• Drafting RFPs, evaluating scorecards and contracts, and supporting vendor procurement.
• Developing contract structures for main delivery strategies and complex interfaces.
• Supporting end-to-end procurement services on large projects.
• Building relationships with project teams, Client personnel, and advisors.
• Maintaining contract trackers and reviewing SOWs/MPAs for work-winning capability.
• Supporting delivery targets and adhering to SOX controls where applicable.
