Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Contract Management Intern for the Americas New Units Heavy Duty Gas Turbines Contract Management Team. You will protect GE Vernova’s commercial interests and support multi-billion-dollar Heavy Duty Gas Turbine projects across the Americas.

Responsibilities include analyzing contract issues, reviewing new power plant contracts, developing automated tools, and coordinating with Contract Managers, Project Managers and customers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare detailed analyses and presentations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Contract Management team in the analysis and interpretation of project-wise commercial issues from initial identification through final resolution.
• Read, review, and interpret new power plant contracts with customers across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
• Assist in the development of automated tools to streamline change order management processes.
• Support assigned contracts in execution, working closely with Contract Managers, Project Managers, and customers.
• Contribute to the preparation of contractual correspondence, including change orders, letters, and customer notifications.
• Assist in tracking and reporting on risk mitigation, vendor recovery, and commercial deliverables.
• Develop and deliver presentations on contract topics to internal stakeholders.
• Complete special projects as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Organize and maintain legacy contract documents and electronic files to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
