FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking an LVN with nursing management experience to provide high-quality care in a long-term care setting in California. The role emphasizes adherence to infection control, quality improvement, and physician-order processing per policy.

The candidate will educate families, coordinate patient care, and participate in rounds with physicians as needed. A current California LVN license and familiarity with PointClickCare are preferred.

Formación

• Experience in nursing management is preferred.
• Long term care experience is required or preferred.
• Compact state license acceptable if working in a compact state.
• Experience with PointClickCare charting is required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge and use of Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in Quality Improvement Program implementation.
• Uses Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admits, discharge).
• Educates patients and families.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders where permitted by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LVN in state California, if contract is in the state of Califonia. Have a compact license if working in a Compact state.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred
• LONG TERM CARE EXPERIENCE
• POINT CLICK CARE CHARTING EXPERIENCE
