Contract Long Term Care RN delivers comprehensive nursing care to residents in long-term care settings, focusing on wound management and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in the long-term care setting, ensuring adherence to care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care strategies.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and efficiently.
- Execute wound care procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid MT RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of LTC experience
- Proven wound care experience
- Strong background working with elderly populations in long-term care settings
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or TNCC are a plus
