Job summary

VIVOS Professional Services, LLC located in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking an individual for managing inventory and logistics operations over a 6-month contract. Job description

Duration: 6 months contract with possible extension or full time conversion

Receipt, Packaging, and Shipment of goods and equipment, inventory management, and logistics activities to maintain adequate supply of materials for all departments to ultimately support manufacturing, service, product testing, and other activities.

Essential Functions

Working closely and communicating well with multiple departments to support their material needs.

Receiving and Inspecting shipments of materials, equipment, or packages and confirming that it meets ordered quantity and quality specifications.

Confirming accuracy of Bill of Lading and signing.

Managing in-house inventory levels for GMP and non-GMP materials and supplies to support demands and schedules, while maintaining safety stock levels.

Scheduling and preparing shipments by coordinating with other departments and facilities.

Label, package, and store all incoming and outgoing materials per product requirements and company procedures.

Properly moving or dispositioning of materials per company procedures and by working with other departments.

Updating inventory control documents and ERP system as required.

Helping identify and resolve “overstock, slow moving, and obsolete” inventory.

Delivering product to the proper facility, inventory location, or departmental personnel.

Collaborate with all departments to help resolve inventory issues/discrepancies, problem orders, and intercompany transfer issues.

Assist in physical inventory, including the annual company-wide inventory.

Root cause analysis and reconciliation of cycle count discrepancies.

Assist with the coordination of supply chain services, critical parts availability, material handling, and shipment of products.

Assist to develop, improve, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems used within the shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics functions of the organization.

May perform additional duties as required.

Able to follow instructions.

Education / Experience / Skills:

Requires High School Diploma/GED.

Experience in receiving and warehouse operations, inventory control, and/or materials management preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven team player with experience successfully interfacing with various departments.

Ability to work accurately and independently.

Time management and organizational skills.

Experience working in cGMP or scientific environment.

Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, SAP preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
