Job summary

Epiq is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a leading global law firm in New York City. This contract position involves handling all phases of litigation, drafting and organizing documents, and coordinating filings with emphasis on discovery and eDiscovery processes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work directly with attorneys to manage multiple complex matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm environment.
• Experience supporting complex litigation matters.
• Strong understanding of discovery, document management, and litigation workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and professionally with attorneys and clients.
• High level of organization, professionalism, and discretion.
• Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
• Draft, revise, proofread, and organize legal documents and case materials.
• Maintain case files, document repositories, and litigation databases.
• Assist with document review, discovery, and production processes.
• Coordinate filings and manage deadlines.
• Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
• Prepare exhibits, hearing binders, and trial materials.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to support case strategy and execution.
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
