Job summary

Vylor, Inc. invites a Contract Associate Intern to join the Technology Contracts & Licensing team, gaining hands-on experience with IP-focused research agreements and licensing within a collaborative R&D and business environment.

You will help manage the contract lifecycle, organize records, and support cross-functional work with finance, legal, and operations. A strong curiosity for contracts and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Curiosity about contracts, licensing, business operations, R&D, agriculture, innovation, or related fields.
• Strong reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize agreement submissions, contract records, milestones, obligations, and related documents.
• Support steps in the contract lifecycle: intake, review, approval, execution, and post-execution tracking.
• Enter, update, and maintain agreement information in contract management tools.
• Research and summarize key terms, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate on projects with TCL team members and partners across R&D, finance, business, and legal operations.
• Contribute to process improvements: templates, trackers, reference materials, and contract-related databases.
• Own a primary summer project: coordinate meetings, track tasks, document progress, share updates.
• Present a final project summary highlighting work, key takeaways, and impact.
