Qualifications

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Advanced critical thinking to assess obstetric emergencies.
• Active RN license with Alaska eligibility; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS and NRP; ACLS and fetal monitoring preferred.
• Experience in acute care obstetrics and teamwork.
• Strong communication, education, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery and immediate postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; administer medications as ordered.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare professionals; document promptly.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and follow evidence-based protocols.
• Educate patients and families; support culturally sensitive care.
