Job summary

Soliant is seeking a qualified school psychologist for a contract opportunity near Charleston, SC. This full-time role supports elementary through high school students in an engaging educational environment while collaborating with educators and families.

You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and help develop interventions to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth in a structured, school-based setting.

Qualifications

• Active School Psychologist license in South Carolina (SC)
• Certification specific to school psychology
• Experience working with K-12 populations in public or charter school settings
• Comfortable conducting evaluations and assessments for diverse student needs
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with special education processes and developing intervention strategies

Responsibilities

• Complete psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data for students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify students’ needs and recommend supports
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and documentation to assist with special education eligibility and programming
• Develop and implement behavioral or academic interventions based on assessment findings
• Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding students’ learning, social, and emotional concerns
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with school policies and state regulations
