Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a School Psychologist to support K-8 students for the full academic year in Goose Creek, South Carolina. You will manage a full caseload and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success.

The role focuses on cognitive, social, and emotional assessments, in-school counseling, IEP participation, and evidence-based interventions for behavioral needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Active South Carolina School Psychologist certification.
• Experience conducting counseling and assessments in school settings.
• Advanced understanding of childhood and adolescent mental health concerns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Direct experience with K-8 populations is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Deliver individual and group counseling services addressing student mental health concerns.
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Design and implement evidence-based interventions for emotional and behavioral issues.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise toward student goal development.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during times of acute student need.
• Educate faculty and families on youth mental health and available resources.
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation of assessments and interventions.
• Support additional duties as needed to foster a positive school environment.
