We are seeking a Contract Instructional Designer to deliver high-quality training solutions through client projects and training modules for our products and services. This is a client-facing role requiring consulting expertise and a strong delivery track record.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand client problem statements, define learning objectives, and recommend training strategies to meet learning outcomes.
  • Conduct needs assessments (audience/role analysis, task analysis, gap analysis, content analysis) and identify performance gaps and training needs.
  • Document analysis results and recommendations; plan and create content outlines, course content, interactive exercises, assessments, and job aids.
  • Implement instructional design frameworks like ADDIE and apply ID pedagogy, principles, and tools.
  • Design and develop instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, video, blended, or micro-learning content based on needs assessments.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts, to determine course needs and delivery methods.
  • Provide status updates and participate in client meetings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through experience, soft skills, and solution-oriented approaches.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Instructional Design and Courseware Development.
  • Experience creating instructional content, storyboards, and engaging training materials.
  • Proficiency with courseware development tools such as Articulate Studio, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic digital image editing skills.
  • Experience working with global clients.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Certification or degree in Instructional Systems Design, Education, Training, Curriculum Development, or related fields.
  • Ability to understand complex products and processes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to feedback and new ideas.
  • Ability to visualize content collaboratively with designers and technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing client expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Experience conducting research with subject matter experts.

Work Hours & Location: Remote position, 8 am - 5 pm EST.
