Job description

You will be a go-to resource for benefits administration and guidance, bringing a personable and confidential approach to the work. You will collaborate with HR and other teams within business operations to effectively onboard and acclimate new people. You will help develop and execute key training programs that further catalyze our high-performance culture. The team

Our global HR team sits at the heart of our company culture. You will join a 3 person team collaborating with Blue Staters across teams, levels, and locations.

A day in the life

Employee Benefit Administration

  • Support the HR team with the administration of our benefit programs.
  • We offer a suite that includes medical, dental, vision, commuter benefits, 401(k), FSA & HSAs, and accident and disability insurance.
  • Support-responsibilities could include the fulfillment of new hire elections, participant changes and plan off-boarding in the Employee Navigator enrollment system.
  • Support the tracking and submission of benefit related changes to Payroll on a semi-monthly basis.
  • Manage the monthly benefits reconciliation process in coordination with the HR and Finance teams.
  • For example, confirming monthly demographic information against monthly vendor invoices.

HR Onboarding / Training & Development

  • Assist in the scheduling and execution of HR onboarding for new hires
  • In coordination with the HR team, makes periodic updates to the training & development decks/slides with current, up-to-date information

HR Inquiries and Requests

  • Help respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, company policies and HR procedures
  • Assists and manages the HR / Payroll ticketing system, ZenDesk, with first rate customer service and ticket responsiveness.

The pay range for this position is $40-$50 per hour; compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Some things we're looking for
  • 3-5 years working of relevant HR work experience, preferably in Benefits Administration
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Drive applications, with an intermediate knowledge in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Delivers people focused, HR support with a high level of empathy and customer service.
  • Proactive, adaptable and strategic mindset.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
