Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a paraprofessional to support students in a California school near Klamath. Roles vary from classroom-wide assistance to dedicated 1:1 support, primarily for high school populations.

The positions offer at least 30 hours per week, with some roles at 32.5 hours. Responsibilities include providing instructional and behavioral support, collaborating with teachers, assisting with IEPs when needed, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred.
• Prior pediatric or adolescent experience is a plus.
• Ability to support students in academic and behavioral development.
• Comfortable working in individual and classroom settings.
• Reliable daily transportation is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, flexible, and ready to adapt to a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students.
• Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to promote a positive learning environment.
• Assist with individualized education plans (IEPs) when needed.
• Offer classroom support or 1:1 assistance as assigned.
• Help implement educational materials and reinforce learning concepts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.
