Qualifications

• Demonstrated success securing grants from private, corporate, government, and other funders.
• 4+ years of professional grant writing or fundraising experience.
• Strong writing, editing, research, and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate program outcomes into compelling funding narratives.

Responsibilities

• Develop letters of inquiry, grant applications, proposals, and funder materials.
• Translate MHY programs, outcomes, and community impact into compelling funding narratives.
• Customize proposals to funders’ priorities and requirements.
• Coordinate proposal budgets, attachments, and supporting documents.
• Review proposals for accuracy, clarity, and funder compliance.
• Submit completed proposals by established deadlines through portals or email.
• Assist CAO in preparing interim and final grant reports.
