Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks Contract Field Service Technicians (1099) to install and maintain voice, data networks, servers, routers, and retail technology systems. Jobs can have a 4-hour response time and usually complete on-site in 2 to 4 hours.

The successful candidate will cover an area within 50 miles of the Phoenix area, with emphasis on hands-on hardware installation and rapid turnarounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with networking hardware and topologies.
• Understanding of VOIP and telephony systems.
• Ability to install and support desktop PCs/servers and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Support retail technology systems including POS and digital signage.
• Extend circuits and perform structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys and site audits.
• Submit accurate job documents and deliverables on time.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and related hardware.
• Install fixed wireless antennas and related equipment.
