Acuative in Columbus, OH is seeking a Field Service Technician for a 1099 contract to install and maintain voice and data networking hardware across multiple sites within a 50-mile radius of Columbus.

You will work on routers, switches, WAPs, telephony equipment, and POS/digital signage systems, with on-site visits and rapid response times. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with networking hardware and topologies.
• Hands-on hardware installation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Installation and maintenance of telephony equipment and circuits.
• Installation and support of retail technology systems – POS, Digital Signage, and Video Surveillance Systems.
• Circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Site surveys and site audits.
• Accurate and timely submission of all job-related documents and deliverables.
• Installation of LEO satellite receivers, cables and hardware.
• Installation of Fixed Wireless Antennas, cables and hardware.
