Job summary

Fourth Floor seeks a Production & Design Assistant to join our New York team on a contract basis. You will partner with Designers to build comprehensive Tech Packs, including detailed sketches (flats), a Bill of Materials (BOM), and construction call-outs.

You will manage changes through sampling and release Tech Packs to global factories, ensuring all patterns and digital assets are included. You will be the primary contact for factory questions about specifications, materials, or construction

Qualifications

Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field.
Hands-on experience using a PLM system.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel.

Responsibilities

Partner with Designers to build comprehensive Tech Packs, including detailed sketches (flats), a BOM, and construction call-outs.
Manage and document all changes throughout the sampling process (Proto, SMS, PP).
Formally release completed Tech Packs to global factories with patterns and digital assets.
Act as the first point of contact for factory questions regarding Tech Pack specifications, material substitutions, or construction methods.
Coordinate between Design and Product Developers to provide quick, clear answers to factory queries to prevent timeline delays.
