Job summary

KBR is seeking a Contract Expeditor for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program to expedite and monitor delivery of supplies in Jacksonville, FL. The role supports PO maintenance, supplier follow-up, and status reporting to ensure timely delivery for the program.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, tracking systems, and coordinating with suppliers and buyers to resolve delivery issues and keep procurement activities on schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of purchase order processes and procurement support activities.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and track multiple actions simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. Proof of citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports buying personnel with purchase order maintenance, status updates, and related data entry activities.
• Expedites materials, supplies, and services associated with purchase orders to support program requirements and delivery schedules.
• Obtains and monitors supplier delivery commitments and provides timely status updates to buyers and internal customers.
• Conducts supplier follow-up regarding delivery status, schedules, and overdue purchase orders to support purchasing goals and customer requirements.
• Maintains purchase order documentation, status records, and electronic tracking systems to ensure accurate and current procurement information.
• Maintains corrective action logs, tracks follow-up activities, and monitors completion status as directed.
• Investigates purchase order and delivery discrepancies as directed by buying personnel and documents findings appropriately.
• Compiles, updates, and distributes material status reports and supplier delivery metrics.
• Coordinates with suppliers, procurement personnel, and other stakeholders to support timely resolution of delivery and status issues.
• Maintains procurement records and supporting documentation in accordance with company and contract requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
