Pinnacle Charter School District Wide in Denver, CO seeks an Event Technician (CONTRACTOR) to support the Pinnacle Events Center. You’ll set up lighting, sound, and projection for school events and rentals, primarily Fridays and weekends, selecting events you work. Work is on an as-needed basis with pay of $22–$28/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up and operate lighting, audio, and projection systems.
• Comfortable with rigging and safety practices in a theatrical environment.
• Experience with ETC Ion, Allen & Heath GL3800, Midas M32Live is a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Able to work weekends and flexible event-based hours.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate lighting, audio, and projection systems for events.
• Hang, circuit, and focus lighting fixtures; program basic cues.
• Conduct sound checks, mix mics, and play audio tracks.
• Prepare projectors and run projection show files; verify video quality.
• Assist with scenic elements and safe rigging practices.
• Arrange event furniture and backstage areas; ensure cleanliness.
• Tear down equipment and store gear after events; liaise with staff.
• Monitor venue use; enforce policies and report safety concerns.
