Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of experience operating heavy equipment with exposure to rigging.
• Experience operating forklift and stock picker.
• Knowledge of crane operation hand signals.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
• Knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare loads for movement.
• Set, align, and level heavy equipment machinery.
• Select appropriate rigging gear based on equipment and load requirements.
• Prepare rigging equipment, including beams, pulleys, clamps, and bolts.
• Inspect rigging equipment before use and perform post-rigging inspections.
• Monitor and maintain rigging equipment.
• Maneuver loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand.
• Complete equipment inspection checklists daily prior to use.
• Communicate effectively with the rigging and operating team.
• Maintain organized work areas and follow safety standards.
• Establish positive relationships with team and customers.
