Job summary

Fluor Corp in Harrison, OH is seeking an Equipment Coordinator for a roughly 3-month contract to support yard operations by operating heavy equipment and rigging for safe moves of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include inspecting loads, setting and leveling machinery, selecting rigging gear, preparing rigging equipment, and daily safety inspections. Schedule is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with potential overtime based on workload.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of experience operating heavy equipment with exposure to rigging.
• Experience operating forklift and stock picker.
• Knowledge of crane operation hand signals.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
• Knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather.

Scope of Work:

Support client yard operations by operating heavy equipment and setting up rigging for the safe movement of heavy equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum three years of experience operating heavy equipment with exposure to or experience in rigging.

• Previous experience operating a forklift and stock picker required.

• Knowledge of crane operation hand signals.

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.

• Knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work safely at heights and in noisy environments.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying or inclement weather conditions.

• Ability and willingness to learn crane operations.

• Ability to work at a fast pace, manage multiple priorities, and adjust as work requirements change.

• Ability to work independently with limited direction.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work.

• Ability to climb, reach, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.

• Ability to routinely lift up to 60 pounds.
