Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an Echo Tech to support diagnostic imaging for adult and pediatric patients. You will perform comprehensive echocardiograms, collaborate with cardiologists, and ensure patient comfort while documenting findings and maintaining equipment.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI RDCS/RCS certification, strong 2D/M-mode, Doppler and color flow skills, and experience with EHR/PACS systems. Competitive weekly pay and benefits accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology or diagnostic medical sonography program.
Current ARDMS or CCI certification in Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS).
Proficiency in 2D/M-mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging.
Experience producing and optimizing echo studies for physician interpretation.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive and limited echocardiographic exams according to protocols.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare providers during procedures.
Review patient histories, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout the scan.
Accurately document findings and maintain precise patient records.
Maintain and calibrate equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly.
Participate in ongoing training to keep skills up to date with the latest best practices.
