You will recruit solo and team CDL-A drivers, and owner-operators by engaging candidates locally, pre-qualifying them, and coordinating with the Recruiting Manager

Job description

Trans 99 Logistics USA is seeking an independent contractor Contract Driver Field Recruiter to support CDL-A driver recruiting from a hybrid base in Laredo, TX (78045). This role is built around field presence and relationship building in one of North America’s key cross-border transportation markets, with recruiting support powered by Trans 99’s infrastructure and technology.

You will recruit company solo drivers, company team drivers, and owner-operators by connecting with candidates across local channels, qualifying them quickly, and coordinating closely with the Recruiting Manager and dedicated processor to help move qualified applicants to hire.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain a strong field recruiting presence throughout the Laredo transportation community.
• Develop relationships with CDL-A drivers, teams, and owner-operators.
• Recruit through truck stops, driver gathering points, community relationships, referrals, social media, events, signage, and other creative channels.
• Use Laredo’s position as a major cross-border transportation hub to find and engage candidates.
• Generate your own driver leads while also using Trans 99 marketing resources.
• Explain Trans 99 driver opportunities accurately and professionally.
• Pre-qualify prospective drivers and move them into the formal recruiting process.
• Enter and manage candidates using your personalized Double Nickel recruiting links and QR codes.
• Maintain communication with candidates throughout recruiting and onboarding.
• Work directly with the Recruiting Manager and dedicated processor to overcome obstacles and close qualified candidates.
• Develop referral relationships across the local trucking community and represent the Trans 99 brand professionally in the field.
• Experiment with new recruiting channels and share what performs best in the Laredo market.

Compensation

• Performance-based independent contractor opportunity.
• Earn up to $1,600 per successfully recruited driver:
  • $800 when your driver completes their first dispatch
  • $800 when that driver reaches 30 days with Trans 99
• Examples: one successful driver: $1,600; five: $8,000; ten: $16,000.
• Pay range: $4,000.00 to $16,000.00 per month.

• Approximately 3,200 miles per week on average for solo drivers.
• 7,000+ miles per week on average for teams.
• Consistent weekly home time.
• Late‑model 2025–2027 Volvo VNL 760 and 860 equipment.
• Growing U.S. and cross-border freight network and consistent freight supported by Trans 99’s North American operation.

Speed Matters

• Ability to move a qualified candidate from initial contact to hire in as little as five days.
• Background checks, pre-employment requirements, documentation, and onboarding workflows are built into the ATS.
