Job summary

Abacus Insights seeks a contract DevOps Engineer to join the team responsible for building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, and advancing CI/CD practices.

You will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure, containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, and self-hosted), and develop pipelines in GitLab/Jenkins/Travis while improving monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk. Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of development experience working on complex systems.
• Strong cloud experience, AWS preferred.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and IaC practices.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows.
• Develop and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS).
• Implement monitoring/observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to deliver robust deployment platforms.
