Job summary

Abacus Insights in Boston, MA is seeking a contract DevOps Engineer to strengthen our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices. You will build secure, scalable environments on AWS (and Azure), implement IaC, and drive automation across the delivery pipeline.

You’ll collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, compliant systems and promote best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of development experience with complex systems.
• Strong cloud experience, AWS preferred.
• Solid Linux systems administration and networking knowledge.
• Experience implementing CI/CD with GitLab, Jenkins, or Travis.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infra across AWS/Azure.
• Design, implement, and manage highly available infrastructure.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and IaC automation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams.
• Promote best practices within the team and organization.
