The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Office of the Director, seeks a Data Strategy Advisor in a contractual, hourly role. You will help develop and promote a forward-looking data strategy to support agency leadership and the HHSi2 project, aligning data insights with policy priorities.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, data analysis, and communication skills to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights in a dynamic government setting.

Qualifications

• Requires four years of college education.
• Minimum of six years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
• Preferred: four years of experience with Medicaid programs and/or other social service programs in State Government.
• Preferred: four years of experience developing and implementing strategic planning processes.

Responsabilités

• Develop an overall data strategy plan and roadmap for increasing maturity for the Agency.
• Collaborate to provide data-driven insights guiding strategic initiatives and program improvements.
• Analyze Medicaid program data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Define performance measures and track progress against strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
• Support forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis for policy changes and resource allocation.
