About the Role

We are looking for a project-based Data Analytics Engineer to build our first business analytics platform/dashboards. This will include leveraging your technical skills to integrate systems, create and measure key metrics (existing and new), and build relevant dashboards using our data warehouse and ETL tools. This role is ideal for a hands-on analytics engineer who can quickly structure data and make insights accessible across the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Centralize and define our core business metrics and KPIs from multiple data sources.
2. Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into key business trends.
3. Optimize our data warehouse and ETL processes to support real-time analytics.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or BI roles.
2. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, PostgreSQL, etc.).
3. Hands-on experience with ELT tools & pipelines such as Airbyte, dbt, Fivetran, Stitch, Meltano, or Apache NiFi.
4. Proficiency in programming & scripting: Python (Pandas, PySpark), SQL, Bash.
5. Experience with data processing & orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or AWS Step Functions.
6. Expertise in BI/dashboarding tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase, etc.).
7. Ability to work independently, move fast, and deliver high-quality insights in a short timeframe.
