Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Product Owner for a 6-month contract in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on translating roadmaps into backlog, prioritizing user stories, and driving agile delivery with cross-functional teams including Product Management and Delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Data Science/Analytics/Applied ML, 3-5+ years with Power BI, strong SQL, and cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP). Familiarity with LMS/ERP integrations is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or Applied ML.
• 3-5+ years hands-on with Power BI (DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling).
• Strong SQL and data modeling.
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Pipelines with Python and Airflow/Prefect/dbt.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Scrum Master, Delivery Team, and Product Managers in planning events (Sprint, PI Planning).
• Translate road map into backlog with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Own and prioritize Team Backlog; define and accept User Stories.
• Ensure backlog clarity and effective prioritization for the Product Management team.
• Support release planning and sprint planning; align epics/features/story breakdown to backlog.
• Mentor junior Product Owners and promote agile delivery across teams.
