Akkodis is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a contract position in Schenectady, New York. The role focuses on managing complex construction projects from planning through execution, coordinating with vendors, facilities teams, EHS, sourcing, and finance.

Responsibilities include leading schedules and budgets, maintaining stakeholder communications, and ensuring cost control and on-time delivery. PMP certification is preferred; CAPM considered; union environments experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Contract project management experience required.
• Experience supervising trades and working in union environments.
• Experience with construction, facilities infrastructure, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
• Strong cost control, forecasting, and budget management skills.
• Experience using Smartsheet for scheduling and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Work on construction, facilities infrastructure, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, facilities teams, EHS, sourcing, and finance partners.
• Lead project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and action items.
• Oversee vendor and contractor management.
• Ensure strong cost control and forecasting.
• Schedule development and tracking using Smartsheet.
• Knowledge of facilities infrastructure and capital project execution.
• Work independently and drive projects with minimal oversight.
