Role Overview This opportunity supports capital and maintenance projects in a field office environment, with responsibility for contract conformance, change order coordination, document control, and contractor communications. The role plays a key part in ensuring contractual obligations are met across construction-related projects, while supporting project management, construction management, legal, procurement, project controls, and other functional teams. Frequent travel is required within the assigned region.
Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline, or an associate degree in a relevant discipline

Required Experience

• Experience in legal, engineering, construction, contract administration, or contract conformance for construction-related projects
• Experience supporting capital and maintenance projects, including projects of elevated complexity
• Knowledge of contracting processes and issues related to energy industry construction projects
• Understanding of the intent, context, purpose, and use of documents typically included in or required by a contract
• Experience coordinating contractual documentation, contractor correspondence, invoice review, contract close-out, and compliance audit support

Required Skills

• Strong contract conformance and contract administration capability across executed contractual arrangements
• Ability to prepare and review contract exhibits, scope descriptions, specifications, pricing details, and special instructions
• Ability to support contract negotiations during bidding and contract formation phases
• Experience managing change order processes, change directives, requested changes, and approved change orders
• Strong document control, record retention, and correspondence management skills
• Excellent technical writing and written communication skills
• Clear, concise, and organized communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address contractual issues proactively
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritise work effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the gas pipeline industry
• Familiarity with best management practices for contracting
• Ability to develop collaborative working relationships across departments to achieve project goals
