About the role

A leading insurance organization is seeking an experienced Claims Specialist for an assignment. You’ll step in quickly, learn the team’s processes from a current associate, help build departmental SOPs, and support the claims function with minimal training. You may also help onboard a new team member.

What you’ll do

• Review inland marine and commercial claim files and confirm all details are complete
• Evaluate coverage and make approval or denial decisions within authority
• Communicate with claimants, clients, carriers and third-party adjusters
• Enter and maintain claim data in the claims management system
• Prepare claim status narratives for internal teams and carriers

What you bring
