The Devenere Law Collective, PLLC seeks a Contract Civil Litigation Attorney licensed to practice federally to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. You will manage civil matters from inception to resolution, appear in state and federal court, and maintain a steady caseload with strict billing and deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of civil litigation experience, active federal licensure (Southern District), strong research and advocacy skills, and the ability to meet 120+ billable

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of legal practice.
• Active federal licensure (Southern District required).
• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation (required).
• Experience in business law and real estate litigation (required).
• Trial experience (required).
• Ability to meet a minimum of 60 billable hours bi-weekly (120+ hours per month).
• Strong ability to independently manage cases and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and federal court filings.
• Conduct legal research and develop strategic case approaches.
• Represent clients in state and federal court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Handle all phases of discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state procedural rules and court deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

• Collaborate with internal team members, including case managers and support staff.

We are currently seeking a Contract Civil Litigation Attorney who is federally licensed to join our expanding team.

Position Overview

This is a contract-based role for an experienced civil litigation attorney who is confident managing complex matters, appearing in both state and federal court, and maintaining a consistent caseload in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and federal court filings
