Qualifications

• Current RCIS certification required.
• Experience with imaging equipment and diagnostic/interventional cardiac procedures.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and EKG interpretation.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiovascular procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to support diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during cases, maintaining sterile field.
• Assist physicians in catheter placement, angioplasty, and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and supplies used.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
• Provide patient education before and after procedures.
