Genesis10 is currently seeking a Buyer for a contract position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Mount Hope, OH. This is a 6-8 week contract opportunity with compensation of $36.00 - $38.00 per hour on a W2 basis.

The role involves processing orders, researching products, expediting deliveries, and maintaining accurate records in JD Edwards. Strong Excel/Word skills and a customer-driven mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Customer-driven and accountable with ownership.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiar with procurement processes and ERP systems (JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

• Process orders from interplant or intradepartmental requisitions and kanban cards using JD Edwards.
• Research products, clarify specs and document bids.
• Follow up on back orders and expedite deliveries; communicate delivery dates.
• Maintain vendor and department files for quick information access.
• Review stock status reports to ensure adequate material supply.
• Maintain inventory transaction reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Update database with new information and correct errors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
