Team Summary:

Within Nintendo of America (NOA)’s Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) department, this position is part of the Fraud team. This is a 6-month temporary contract position.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • Reviews payment transactions placed on all DTC business channels for potential fraud and abuse to prevent financial losses.
  • Conducts account investigations using available tools, to identify fraudulent activity and abuse.
  • Detects activity and patterns indicative of fraudulent behavior such as account takeover (ATO), credential stuffing, friendly fraud, payment card theft, and other similar risks based on manual review and data analysis.
  • Performs data analysis, creates customer risk profiles, and detects trends to mitigate the risk of fraud and chargebacks.
  • Takes real-time action on assigned suspected fraudulent activity using fraud system tools.
  • Monitors and escalates activity spikes and trends detected to key stakeholders, enabling them to make strategic, operational and policy decisions.
  • Communicates and works closely with internal and external business partners to respond to ad hoc requests, provide analysis, and share results and recommendations to support objectives.
  • Maintains detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Uses investigative research tactics to identify suspicious activity and resolve customer disputes.
  • Ensures appropriate confidentiality and PCI-DSS adherence in all communications and interactions.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in fraud prevention, including chargeback/dispute resolution.
  • Experience researching and analyzing data and presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, including the ability to be hands-on and dive deep into details to identify root causes.
  • Ability to effectively perform investigations using all available tools, including open-source, social media and ID verification.
  • Awareness of industry regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with logic-based languages such as SQL, database analysis software, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent and/or Certification in a field that demonstrates quantitative and analytical orientation preferred.
  • Gaming industry or ecommerce experience a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This contract position includes the base pay range listed below and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency.

Pay range:

$30 — $40 USD
