Job summary

Bombardier US Aerostructures is seeking an Aircraft Assembler with a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or aircraft assembly. Responsibilities include drilling close tolerance holes, installing hardware, and using power tools to support production objectives.

Candidates must read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints, follow directions from leads and supervisors, and communicate issues promptly to maintain safety and quality. GED or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Must have GED or Equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an aircraft assembler or experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to drill close tolerance holes and install manufacturing hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

How to thrive in this role?

• Must have G.E.D. or Equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an aircraft assembler or experience in manufacturing, or in a similar industry that demonstrates the following skillsets:
  • Drilling close tolerance holes and installation of manufacturing hardware
  • Use of power tools (pneumatic and electric, including drills, rivet guns, torquing wrenches, etc.).
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Must successfully complete approved Bombardier initial training program (Bombardier Aviation Apprenticeship Program)
• Must successfully pass an entrance assessment demonstrating basic technical skills (applicable to all the above prerequisites)
